Electric toothbrush and heads: buying the two together

An electric toothbrush is bought once; its heads, four times a year. This page brings the two together: our three Fairywill sonic brushes (E11, P11, D7) and the two packs of heads that match them, to choose the set at once and never end up with a brush without a head.

The maths is simple. A head is changed every three months, or as soon as the bristles splay; at about €1 per head, a brush at €24.99 or €29.99 therefore costs around €4 a year to maintain. The pack of 10 covers the E11, E10, E6 and D7S for two and a half years; the packs of 4 or 8 are for the P11 only.

With an ÉclatDent toothpaste at 1450 ppm fluoride and low abrasiveness (RDA below 70), a sonic brush is used twice a day without wearing enamel: it is pressure, not vibration, that damages gums. Soft bristles for most adults and for all sensitive gums.

The brush comes with its first head. Taking a pack from the start avoids forgetting the three-month change: it is the first change most people miss.

How much does an electric brush cost to maintain per year?

Four heads a year at about €1 per head: around €4. The brush itself lasts several years if the battery is charged regularly without being left at zero.
