Replacement brush heads: the head is changed every three months

An electric brush head wears out in three months: the bristles splay, lose their spring and clean less well, whatever the toothpaste. It is the most useful and cheapest accessory of the routine. ÉclatDent keeps in stock, in France, the heads compatible with its Fairywill sonic brushes: the pack of 10 heads for E11, E10, E6 and D7S (€9.99, about €1 per head) and the P11 heads in packs of 4 or 8 (from €6.99).

A pack of 10 covers more than two years for one person, or one year for a couple. Soft bristles are enough for most adults; a low-abrasivity toothpaste (RDA below 70) and light pressure protect enamel and gums far better than a misused new brush.

The Glow Brush (€34.99) completes the set: a wall-mounted UV-C steriliser that limits bacteria on the head between brushings, without replacing the quarterly change. Dispatched from France within 24 to 48 h, free shipping from €13.99 of order (€10 in France), returns within 30 days on unsealed products.

Frequently asked questions

Which heads fit my Fairywill brush?

The pack of 10 fits the E11, E10, E6 and D7S models; the P11 heads (pack of 4 or 8) are for the P11 only. The model is written under the brush handle.

How often should the head be changed?

Every three months, or as soon as the bristles splay or whiten. After an infection (sore throat, flu), change it too: it is inexpensive, about €1 per head.

Soft or medium bristles?

Soft for most adults and for all sensitive gums: pressure and brushing time clean, not bristle hardness. Hard bristles wear enamel and the gum line.

Is a UV-C steriliser essential?

No. It reduces bacteria on the head between brushings, which is useful in a shared bathroom, but it replaces neither rinsing the head after use nor changing it every three months.
