Frequently asked questions

Does an anti-stain toothpaste whiten teeth?

No. It lifts the pigments deposited on the surface of the enamel, which gives the tooth back its original colour; it does not change its natural shade. Lightening the shade requires treatment supervised by a dentist.

How soon can I see a result?

The first visible change generally appears after two to three weeks of brushing morning and evening, depending on how old the stains are. Old or deep stains take longer, or need scaling.

Can I use a charcoal toothpaste every day?

Activated Charcoal Whitening is designed for gentle daily use, with 1450 ppm fluoride and peroxide-free. If your teeth are sensitive, alternate with Gentle Coconut Whitening.

Most “yellowed” teeth actually have surface stains: pigments from coffee, tea, red wine or tobacco settle on the enamel. These stains fade with suitable brushing; the natural shade of the tooth, on the other hand, only changes with treatment at the dentist. This page brings together what works on the surface, without peroxide.

Where to start

Coffee or tea drinker: Anti-Coffee Stains, with micro-polishing silica. Smoker: Anti-Tobacco Stains. Gradual brightness every day: Activated Charcoal Whitening. Sensitive teeth: Gentle Coconut Whitening. The bundles (Expert Anti-Stain, Coffee Trio 3 months, Intense Charcoal Trio, 12-Month Coffee Pack) cost less than single tubes. The first visible change appears in two to three weeks depending on how old the stains are.

Two accessories complement the toothpaste: the polishing eraser, to rub an isolated stain on a healthy tooth from time to time, and stainless steel straws, which limit contact between iced coffee or soda and your front teeth. The toothpastes ship from France; the accessories are shipped by our logistics partner. All the tubes are on the Toothpastes page.
