In detail
Everything about this product
The copper tongue scraper is the historic tongue-cleaning tool, inherited from the Ayurvedic morning routine. This one is a U-shaped arc held by both ends: place the rounded part at the back of the tongue and draw it towards the tip in two or three strokes.
Three shapes
The supplier offers three shapes labelled A, B and C (see photos): all are U-shaped copper arcs, differing in their ends: loops, knurled steel handles or flat pads. The part that touches the tongue is the same. Buyers confirm in their reviews that it is real copper.
Copper develops a patina, and that is normal
In contact with air and water, copper darkens and may take on greenish tints. It is not a defect: half a lemon dipped in fine salt (or a little white vinegar) rubbed over the arc brings back its shine in thirty seconds. Always rinse and dry after use. We make no “antibacterial” claim: we sell an object, not a promise.
Who it is for
For those who value the traditional gesture and a natural material; if you prefer zero upkeep, our stainless steel scraper is the one for you.

Frequently asked questions
Why does copper darken?
It is the natural oxidation of the metal in contact with air and moisture. It does not affect use. Half a lemon dipped in salt, or white vinegar, rubbed on and rinsed off, restores the shine.
Is copper “antibacterial”?
You read that claim everywhere; we do not repeat it, for lack of evidence specific to this object. We sell a scraper that mechanically lifts off the coating, to be rinsed and dried after each use.
What is the difference between shapes A, B and C?
All three are U-shaped copper arcs; they differ in their ends: loops, knurled steel handles or flat pads (see photos). The part touching the tongue is identical.
Stainless steel or copper?
Stainless steel needs no upkeep and costs less; copper is the traditional material and needs careful rinsing. The gesture and the result are the same.
