Everything about this product
Under a brace wire or a bridge, floss cannot go down between the teeth from above: it has to be threaded. That is what a floss threader does: a soft nylon loop, like the eye of a needle, extended by a stiff tip.

How to use it
Pass 20 to 30 cm of floss through the loop. Slide the tip under the brace wire, under the bridge or between the implant and the neighbouring tooth, then pull until the floss comes through. Clean both sides, remove, and repeat at the next gap.

Is floss included?
No. The box contains only the threaders. They work with any floss, waxed or not, which you pass through the loop like the eye of a needle.
What exactly is it for?
Getting floss where it cannot go down between the teeth from above: under a brace wire, under a bridge, around an implant, behind a bonded retainer wire.
Can it be reused?
The supplier does not say. Rinsed and dried, it can be used again as long as the loop and tip keep their shape; throw it away as soon as it bends or frays.
Is there a green version?
Green is out of stock at the supplier: only blue is offered. The colour makes no difference in use.
Does it replace brushing?
No. Floss cleans between teeth; keep brushing twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste. Your orthodontist or dentist can show you the technique at an appointment.
