Before you buy
Who it's for, and who it isn't
It's for you if
- You hate throwing away a tube that still has paste in it
- You want a neat tube, not one squashed in the middle
- You are looking for a small, useful gift for the whole bathroom
Skip it if
- Your tube’s seal is wider than 6 cm: it will not fit in the slot
- You want a dispenser that fixes to the wall (see our drill-free dispenser)
In detail
Everything about this product
No more tube squashed in the middle and thrown away with paste still inside: slide the sealed end into the key’s slot, turn, and the tube rolls up, pushing the toothpaste towards the nozzle. The key stays on until the tube is finished; a quarter turn now and then is enough.
What you get
- 1, 3 or 5 stainless steel keys (according to the supplier, grade not stated)
- 7.9 cm long, 3.4 cm head, 6 cm usable slot, according to its diagram
- One-piece metal part, reusable from one tube to the next
Which tubes?
Any soft tube whose flat seal fits in the slot, so under 6 cm wide: toothpaste, hand cream, ointment. The supplier shows it on an aluminium tube; we have not yet tried it on our own tubes, so measure the seal first.
Why several keys
One for each tube in use around the house, and each key stays on its tube until it is empty. It also makes a small, useful gift to slip into a parcel.

The winning duo
And your toothpaste?
An accessory does half the job, the toothpaste does the other half: Anti-Coffee Stains, 1450 ppm fluoride and peroxide-free, completes this routine.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with your toothpastes?
The flat seal at the bottom of the tube must fit in the slot, which is 6 cm according to the supplier’s diagram. We have not yet tried it on our tubes: measure the seal before ordering.
Is it really stainless steel?
That is what the supplier states. It does not give the grade and we have no material certificate, so we say no more. Wipe the key if it stays wet.
How do I remove it before the tube is finished?
Turn the key the other way to unroll the tube a little, then slide it off the seal. The simplest option is to leave it on until the tube is empty.
Can it be used for anything other than toothpaste?
Yes, the supplier also intends it for creams, ointments and cosmetics in soft tubes, as long as the seal fits in the 6 cm slot.
