Everything about this product
Resin does not hold well on a wet tooth. Before fitting a tooth gem, the tooth has to be dried and kept from getting wet again while you work: that is what these cotton rolls do, the same ones slipped under the lip at the dentist’s.

How to use them
Brush and rinse the tooth, then slip a roll between the lip and the gum, level with the tooth to decorate. Dry the tooth, place the crystal following your resin’s instructions, then remove the roll as soon as you are done; if it sticks to the gum, moisten it with a little water first.
What they do not do
This tool does not bond anything on its own. Bonding resin not included: use a cosmetic tooth-gem resin whose manufacturer publishes its composition, or have it fitted at a beauty salon or by your dentist.

How to use
Applying and removing, step by step
- Brush the tooth, rinse, then wash your hands
- Slip a roll between the lip (or cheek) and the gum, level with the tooth to decorate
- Dry the tooth; if the roll gets soaked before you finish, replace it
- Place the crystal and cure the resin following its manufacturer’s instructions
- Remove the roll as soon as you are done, moistening it if it sticks; never leave it in the mouth
- Throw it away: a roll is never reused
- Tooth gems: adults only, healthy teeth, never on a crown, veneer or brace; do not swallow
- Removal: wear is temporary (1 to 4 weeks); never use a metal object, have any residue removed by your dentist

What is a cotton roll for with a tooth gem?
To keep the tooth dry. Resin bonds poorly to wet enamel: slipped between lip and gum, the roll soaks up saliva while you dry the tooth, place the crystal and cure the resin.
How many per application?
One or two, depending on how much saliva you produce; change it if it gets soaked before you finish. A bag of 50 therefore covers many applications; 100 and 200 are for frequent use or for several people.
The roll sticks to my gum, what should I do?
Very dry cotton can stick to the soft tissue. Moisten it with a little water, wait a few seconds, then remove it gently without yanking. Never leave it in the mouth after fitting.
What precautions apply to tooth gems?
Adults only, on healthy teeth, never on a crown, a veneer or a brace. Wear is temporary, 1 to 4 weeks. Do not swallow it; never use a metal object to remove it, and have any residue taken off by your dentist. It is a decorative item with no medical purpose.
