An end-tuft brush has just one small tuft of soft bristles at the end of an angled neck. It does not replace your toothbrush: it comes afterwards, tooth by tooth, into the corners a full-size head skims over.

No. Brush your teeth normally first, with a fluoride toothpaste, then use the end-tuft brush on the tricky areas: around each bracket, behind the molars, along the gum line. Allow one extra minute.
How do I use it around brackets?
Place the tuft against the bracket, tilted towards the gum, and make small circles without pressing, then do the other side of the bracket. Your orthodontist can show you the right angle at an appointment.
Are the bristles soft?
Yes, the supplier describes them as soft. A small tuft concentrates pressure on a small area: brush without pressing, in small movements, especially along the gum.
How often should I replace it?
Like an ordinary brush, about every three months, or sooner if the tuft splays. The pack of 4 lasts one person a year; the pack of 8, two people a year.
Can I choose the colours?
