Wax pick-up pen for tooth gems — wax tip and fine point
A double-ended pen to place a tooth gem without touching it: the wax tip picks the crystal up by its cut face and sets it in the resin, the fine point sorts the stones on the table. 14.8 cm handle, five designs. Resin not included. Tracked delivery in 7 to 12 working days.
Before you buy
Who it's for, and who it isn't
It's for you if
- You fit your own tooth gems, with a resin whose manufacturer publishes its composition
- You cannot pick up a 2 mm crystal without dropping it
- You want to keep the cut face clean and shiny until it is placed
- You also do nail art: the same pen works for both
Skip it if
- You are looking for something to bond with: this pen does not glue anything, and resin is not included
- You want to remove a gem: never with the metal point; any residue is removed by your dentist
- You are under 18, or have damaged or sensitive teeth, a crown, a veneer or a brace: tooth gems are not for you
In detail
Everything about this product
A 2 mm crystal cannot be picked up with your fingers: it slips, it drops, and fingers dull its cut face. This pen solves that: touch the crystal with the wax tip and it stays attached just long enough to place it.
What you get
- 1 pen, 14.8 cm, with a clear handle filled with small decorative rhinestones
- At one end, a conical screw-on wax tip to pick the crystal up by its cut face
- At the other, a fine metal point to sort and flip the stones on the table
- Five handle designs to choose from; they all work the same way
How to use it
Turn the crystal cut face up, touch it with the wax, set it flat back down into the resin, then release the pen with a slight sideways movement. Near the mouth, use only the wax tip: the metal point stays on the table and is never used to remove a gem.
What it does not do
This tool does not bond anything on its own. Bonding resin not included: use a cosmetic tooth-gem resin whose manufacturer publishes its composition, or have it fitted at a beauty salon or by your dentist. The same pen is used in nail art, where it comes from.

How to use
Applying and removing, step by step
- Turn the crystals cut face up on a clean, dry surface (the fine point helps flip them)
- Touch the cut face of the crystal with the wax tip: it stays attached
- Set it flat back down against the fresh resin, following your resin’s instructions
- Release the pen with a slight sideways movement, without pressing on the tooth
- Near the mouth, use only the wax tip, never the metal point
- Wipe the tip and store the pen away from dust and heat
- Tooth gems: adults only, healthy teeth, never on a crown, veneer or brace; do not swallow
- Removal: wear is temporary (1 to 4 weeks); never use a metal object, have any residue removed by your dentist
Temporary application, no drilling, no acid. Not recommended under 18, on damaged, decayed or sensitive teeth, or on crowns, veneers or braces. If in doubt or in pain, see your dentist.

What goes with it
Frequently asked questions
Does the pen stick the crystal to the tooth?
No. The wax only holds the crystal while you move it; the resin is what fixes it. Bonding resin not included: use a cosmetic tooth-gem resin whose manufacturer publishes its composition, or have it fitted at a beauty salon or by your dentist.
What is the metal point for?
For sorting and flipping the crystals on the table, cut face up, before picking them up with the wax. Keep it away from the tooth and never use it to remove a gem: a metal object can scratch the enamel.
Does the wax wear out?
It grips less once it picks up dust or resin. Keep the pen clean, stored away from heat, which softens the wax, and wipe the tip after each use. We do not sell replacement tips.
Which design should I choose?
Whichever you like: the five designs only differ in the colour of the handle and the tip, and they all work exactly the same way.
What precautions apply to tooth gems?
Adults only, on healthy teeth, never on a crown, a veneer or a brace. Wear is temporary, 1 to 4 weeks. Do not swallow it; never use a metal object to remove it, and have any residue taken off by your dentist. It is a decorative item with no medical purpose.
How long is delivery?
